Dwight Howard Embraces his inner Derek Anderson
Often, we think of athletes as aloof beings entrapped in a bubble of practice, game, rinse, repeat. But they can be pretty worldly, aware individuals, and some of them even have a sense of humor about it … like Dwight Howard, for instance. Howard’s postgame locker room interview included an impressive remake of Monday Night’s Derek Anderson Debacle. Watch!

LA Laker Gets Suspended and Fined 25,000
I guess the pressure of loosing for the fourth time in a row to the Dallas Mavericks got the best of Andrew Bynum. He was angry and it showed!! The Laker player elbowed J.J. Barea of the Dallas Mavericks in the ribs as he was going up for a shot, the blow knocked Barea to the ground. It probably would have been ok if Andrew apologized and maybe even offered to help the injured player up, instead he snatched off his jersey while being escorted off the court. The NBA fined Bynum 25,000 and suspended him for 5 games. Bynum since released this apology.
“I want to apologize for my actions at the start of the fourth quarter in Dallas. This doesn’t represent my upbringing and I want to apologize to J.J. Barea for doing that. I’m glad he wasn’t seriously injured. All I can say is I look at it as terrible. I saw it. I went in and I watched it, it was terrible. The whole sequence, taking off of the shirt and everything. Sometimes you just have to man up and own it. That’s what happened and it’s unacceptable. … It looks bad. It just looks bad.” *
Magic Johnson called Bynum’s action “Classless”* .

Miami Dolphins Brandon Marshall Stabbed by Wife
The Blind Man saw it all again!! Brandon Marshall has been listed in critical condition as a result of being stabbed by his wife. Although there are no complete details on what lead to this unfortunate situation, Marshall told the police that his injuries were a result of an accident. The Marshall's are no stranger to domestic violence. In March 2009 Brandon and his then fiance Michi Leshase Nagomi-Campbell were both arrested when the police arrived to witness the couple fighting outside. The charges were dropped when they decided not to press charges against eachother, the couple were married a year later. Mrs. Marshall has admitted to the stabbing claiming "self defense" and is being held on 75,000 bond.
UPDATE: The athlete's injuries aren't "life-threatening" according to a NFL.com, and he may be released from the hospital as early as this afternoon. Still, Marshall will need 2-3 weeks to recover from his injuries.
